Ok, I love the Souma family. I though Haru was older than them and was shooketh when revealed that he's actually a year younger. I really like his character, I don't mind seeing more of him in future episodes :)

That explains why he rode a bike: he's underage and can't drive cars or motorbikes yet.. Those women probably thought he's their age cuz they said "he looks like the type who goes clubbing".

Surprises me how nobody maked a remark on Kyo running on his bare feet, but I guess he's always been kind of a odd carrot. Haru definitely the most eccentric person so far with his mature appearance despite being in junior high and also his split personality.

OMG This is only the third or fourth anime ever to have my laughing out loud, well not exactly, but wheezing would be the word haha. And having a grin throughout because of how damn wholesome it is.

Clannad, Sakurasou, Oresuki and maybe one or two more are the only ones who have made me grin with THIS MUCH WHOLESOME ENERGY and actually laugh haha

Also loved how the two boys who told her to run atleast a bit and share their suffering just came around to sit and play cards with her and the sensei who was fed up with them finally came around to playing with them while crying haha as noone listens to him lmfaooo.

I watched this episode in the old series and I got to say, the difference is huge. A little of this and that changed while overall being the same. It's like a refreshed modern update with new crisp details and added scenery. But, while looking a lot nicer it lacks some of the old 00's charm. Sure, less shot reverse shot and overly close up faces, and ugly at times style, and 240 resolution, and stuff... but the charm! Some things are nicely done here and even better in the original! I love when the art style shifts in the old one for the Zodiac snippets with a children's book feel. And those power point cutaways with cute art for each one. Both are great and still make me happy!
